i have enjoyed staying off my computer in favor of time with family celebrating christmas and hannukah during my break, but like every other navel-gazer on the planet, i wanted to write a version of a best-of list. i find ranking terribly difficult so this is less a list of my best picks from the year and more a non-exhaustive list of favorites that stuck out to me from 2022. substack doesn’t always like to underline links but each favorite listed can be clicked to read my writeup in the original post.
